What features do dragons have?
Most of dragon’s features are presented on the dragon’s card.
Dragon’s Stats
Stats are dragon’s attributes. Stats are divided into Damage (power) and Health.
Power is an attribute that defines dragon’s power during the battle (the damage it deals).
When a dragon attacks, it deals this amount of damage to it’s rival competitor.
Health is an attribute that defines how much damage dragon can take. Everytime the dragon takes damage, the amount is subtracted out of it’s health.
Every dragon has 1000 Health points, and 100 Damage points by default. These attributes can be risen with the gene sets, dragon’s level and talismans.
These are represented on the card as two numbers on the diamonds at the bottom of the card.
Genes
Every dragon consists of several parts: Head, Wings, Paws, Tail, Element, and Breath. These parts depend on their genes, that can have different values.
These genes are assigned at birth, or at the beginning of the game. Dragon’s looks are defined by all of these genes. Every gene color belongs to a certain set.
These genes are shown as diamond above the picture of the dragon on the card.
Sets
Set is a collection of genes of the same color in one dragon. Each gene from set gives you the bonus to damage done to other dragons. The more body parts are of the same set, the larger the bonus it provides.
Set parts bonuses | |
---|---|
2 p. | 10% |
3 p. | 20% |
4 p. | 50% |
5 p. | 80% |
6 p. | 100% |
Bonuses are accumulated, so if, for example, your dragon two body parts in each set, it will get two bonuses for two body parts, which means we will get 20% of the attack bonus.
Each color corresponds to a certain element. There are six of them: Fire, Air, Darkness, Water, Earth and Light. All of them are represented by the diamonds of corresponding color on the dragon's card.
All elements, except Light, have additional advantages or disadvantages on other elements. Thus dragons can deal additional damage to some elements, and receive additional damage from other elements. More on element advantages in the table below, where red color means disadvantage towards element, and green means advantage:
element advantage sheet | ||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
vs Fire | vs Air | vs Darkness | vs Water | vs Earth | vs Light | |
Fire | ||||||
Air | ||||||
Darkness | ||||||
Water | ||||||
Earth | ||||||
Light |
The amount of additional advantage or disadvantage depends on the set level of your dragon.
The more genes of same set the dragon has, the more strongly colored it’ll be.
Rarity
Rarity is quality stat of dragons. The rarer the dragon is, the stronger it is in the arena, the better generation of dragon’s it can make and the better reward it is given for completing quests. Rarity is defined during the breeding, it can have same rarity as its parents, or it can be higher or lower.
There are five kinds of rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary.
All rarity levels give the dragon a new skill to use on an arena.
Dragon still can use abilities of less rare dragons, as well as its own rarity skill.
- Common - Attack
- Uncommon - 30% chance to block 30% of damage
- Rare - 30% chance to deal critical damage (150% dmg)
- Epic - 30% chance to heal 5% of the dragon's HP
- Legendary - 20% chance to stun enemy (skips next round)
All skills are passive, and are activated during the round with a certain chance.
Rarity is presented as the color of background on the dragon picture on the map. Grey background means that the dragon is common, green means uncommon dragon, blue means rare, purple means epic, and orange means that dragon is legendary.
You can check dragon’s skills in its profile.
Price
Dragon's prices are a rough estimate of all of dragon's features in crystals. We recommend to base your pricing of dragon on this, if you wish to sell it on the market.
Prices of dragons are affected by the following features: dragon's set, rarity and amount of breeding attempts. Thus, the better is the dragon, the more value it has for players and on the market, and bigger it's price.
Recovery
Recovery is a time-out during which dragons can’t breed, do quests, or fight on any arena.
Dragon has to rest after:
- Breeding
- Quest completion
Dragon's are sent to recover automatically after such activities. You can use mana potions to speed-up recovery and skip timer to send dragon on any of those events.
You can see if dragon is recovering in the Mage’s tower, where you see all your dragons.
Usage of talismans
Talismans give a you an opportunity to rise up any dragon’s power and health stats. You can apply one talisman for each body part of the dragon. Depending on the body part talisman will give different effect. To apply talisman on a body part it has to match it’s color.
There are 3 kinds of talisman’s effect: offensive, defensive and universal.
body part | use | effect |
---|---|---|
Head | offensive | damage increase |
Breath | offensive | damage increase |
Element | universal | slightly damage and health increase |
Wings | universal | slightly damage and health increase |
Paws | defensive | health increase |
Tail | defensive | health increase |
Tail | defensive | health increase |
bodypart effect: | offensive | defensive |
---|---|---|
rarity | bonus | bonus |
common | 5% | 3% |
uncommon | 10% | 6% |
rare | 20% | 12% |
epic | 35% | 21% |
legendary | 50% | 30% |
If talisman is put on the bodypart with universal effect, it will give a bonus to both, health and attack stats of your dragon. You can see how much it affects your dragon in the table below.
bodypart effect: | offensive | defensive |
---|---|---|
rarity | attack bonus | health bonus |
common | 3% | 2% |
uncommon | 5% | 3% |
rare | 10% | 6% |
epic | 18% | 11% |
legendary | 25% | 15% |
All talismans have their durability stat. Everytime dragon fights on arena and uses talismans, they are getting slightly worn out, and give lesser bonus. For each fight on arena their talisman durability reduces for 5%. Talisman durability is equal to the bonus it gives, which means, that if you have 5% less durability on talisman, it gives 5% less bonus to your dragon.
Talisman can’t wear out lower then 10% durability, which means it will always give at least 10% bonus.
Talismans can be repaired. To do so, you will need some mana crystals, mana potions and talisman shards.
(But you won’t need to find new recipe, yay!)
Besides, you can dismantle the talisman. Thus you’ll get 50% of the shards you spent on its creation.
You can check if dragon has talismans in its profile, in the “Talismans” tab.
